Upcoming Webinars on UnForm Topics of Interest

Following the success of the Archiving components series of webinars held from last October to January, we are scheduling a series of 10 webinars covering topics of general, and technical interest to our resellers and users.

Each free webinar is 45 minutes in length followed by a Q&A period. They will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am PST, starting May 8 and running through July 26.

Up to 10 attendees will be accepted for each session.

Following are outline and details of the Webinar topics, followed by instructions for signing up,

U-101 Rule-Set Modes, Main versus Code-Block Miguel Escobar

New integrators and form designers frequently need a primer on the structure of a rule-set, one of the main configuration units in UnForm. Understanding the difference between the mainline command and code-block areas of a rule-set is critical. In this session we slow down and focus in to carefully lay out the functional differences between the two constructs, and show how they work independently and combine together to provide the most powerful document enhancement tool on the market.

UnForm’s primary developer introduces the technical details of this free new client-server component. Installable on a networked Windows workstation, it provides support for functions that might not be readily available or configurable for UNIX servers where UnForm is running, or acts in support of a Windows UnForm server installation. In either case, it opens up access to the Windows Fax server, ODBC connectivity, and automatic image conversion without a 3^rd party package.

UnForm’s unique and flexible method for controlling multiple copies of a single document are the focus of this session. Control over the enhancements to apply to a form can be micro-managed down to the level of which page or copy they apply to, including tray and bin control, output device and delivery recipient control, and more. Real “smart-form” processing is the end result.

UnForm’s new e-Delivery rule-set template drives a flexible merge-able e-Delivery engine that can significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to develop e-Delivery-enabled forms. Learn how to drop these templates in and configure them to get up and running on e-delivery fast. Three functions and four retrieval methods are covered. The functions are email, fax and selective copy print, and the four retrieval methods are page fixed location, page delimited line, text file lookup, and ODBC lookup.
