UPGRADE PRICING UPDATE
UnForm 7.1 was released in December 2007 and new pricing for v7.1 was
effective as of 01-December 2007. All orders currently shipping are v 7.1.
Any upgrades from prior versions will be to v7.1.
UnForm v5.x was sunsetted on 12/31/2005.
As of 12/31/2007 technical support for UnForm 5 was discontinued, and the
download from our website is no longer available.
Support for UnForm v4.x and older was dropped on
12/31/2004. Downloads for UnForm v4.x are no longer available from our web
site.
Any technical support requested for version 5 or older will
be billed at standard hourly rates.
UnForm v7.1 Upgrades
Upgrade from v7.0 to v7.1 is 25% of the new list price.
Upgrade from v6.0 to v7.1 is 50% of new price.
UnForm v6.0 will be supported for a limited time.
The upgrade formula for
upgrading from v5.0 to v7.1 is 75% of the new retail price.
Upgrades from v4.x and older, no discount.
UnForm License Reset Fees v5.0 and v4.x with run
time engine
License reset fees for UnForm
v5.0 and v4.x with a run time engine have increased to offset the increased cost to SDSI from our previous run time
vendor providing resets and maintaining the automated licensing program.
A reset is required anytime you have to re-install the software due hardware
changes or moving to a new computer system.
The fee for a license reset is $150.00. In addition there
is
a minimum non-supported product incident fee of $125.00. Total cost
for reset $275.00.
UnForm License Exchange Fees v5.0 and v4.x – no run time engine
There is a minimum
non-supported product incident fee of $125.00 for new serial number license
keys or platform exchanges. The fee is required to offset the
increased cost to SDSI in maintaining the automated licensing program and
database for non-supported products.
