Conference
Update
Interest in our June technical conference is
strong, as registrations have passed
three-quarters of our planned maximum capacity, with
the conference still two months away.
Driving the brisk pace of registrations is interest by resellers and
end-users in being able to hit the ground
running with UnForm 7.0's new document
management components.
Don't hesitate.
Make your plans to attend now.
Make hotel reservations while we still have
rooms in our block. The last day to reserve a
room from our block is June 1, but it is
possible our allotted block of rooms will be
filled before then. Availability of rooms after
June 1 cannot be guaranteed. The locale for our
conference is a popular one.

This year's conference is being held in San
Jose, California, the heart of the famous Silicon Valley,
at the Hotel Valencia, in the middle of
the Santana Row
district, famous for shopping, dining and

UnForm 7.0 Update: Whitepaper, Beta Release
In addition to new base-product enhancements like the
Postscript driver, auxiliary Windows support server, new
Fax functionality, PDF enhancements, and more,
UnForm 7.0
will offer new components that supply the
technologies to automate an enterprise-wide document
delivery, document archiving and management, and
document scanning solution that is scalable to meet the
needs of any size business.

BETA RELEASE PLAN
The Beta version of UnForm 7.0 is planned to be
available for distribution in June, concurrent
with its unveiling during sessions of the San
Jose SDSI technical conference.
UPGRADE and
PRICING POLICIES
Copies of UnForm 6.0 which were purchased on or
after 01/01/2006 at version 6.0 prices will be
given full credit towards the new price of
UnForm 7.0 during a promotional time period,
just paying the difference in price to upgrade.
For copies of UnForm purchased on or prior to
12/31/2005, the standard upgrade formulas will
be 50% of retail price to upgrade from one
revision-level back ( version 6.0 to version 7.0
), and 75% of retail price to upgrade from two
revision-levels back ( version 5.0 to version
7.0 ). There will be no discount for upgrading
from a revision of 4.1 or earlier to version
7.0.
There will be a new release promotional period
announced during which special incentives will
be offered with discounts to the above standard
upgrade pricing formulas.
A
pricing and upgrade policy document which
includes exact details will be Emailed before
the conference and Beta release in June.
